Where: Batumi is a seaside city on the Black Sea coast and capital of Adjara, an autonomous republic in southwest Georgia.
While industries in Batumi include shipbuilding, food processing, and light manufacturing, most of its economy revolves around tourism. Since 2010, the face of the city has been transformed by the construction of new high-rise landmark buildings and the renovation of the Old Town.
MRMU ltd has been involved with a number of developments in Georgia over the last 7 years, including data centre in Tbilisi and felt that there was an opportunity for a venture catering to the ever increasing tourist market in Batumi.
This project is located approximately 6 km northeast of Batumi City Centre just outside of the town of Makhinjauri, facing due west with panoramic views over the Black Sea. The site can be reached by road or train, and sits on the main E70 with good links to Kutaisi International Airport. Batumi International Airport lies approximately 12.4 km southwest of the Site.
Mziuri Gardens is a holiday resort complex boasting uninterrupted, panoramic views of the Black Sea and Caucasus mountains, 12 000 sq m of lush green garden with century-old pine trees and other native plants, as well as a diverse range of facilities and services. The project consists of three, 14-storey residential blocks, offering a mix of traditional hotel rooms, alongside a number of apartments. Leisure facilities on site will include a spa and fitness center, well-equipped gardens, a private beach, facilities for children, restaurants, cafes, conference rooms, lobby, parking and much more. The whole residential complex of Mziuri Gardens will be fully accessible.
Preserving the local landscape was the main focus when developing the plans for Mziuri Gardens.
